On April 18 and 19, 2026, the extraordinary spider and insect exhibition will make a guest appearance in the Mooswaldhalle Freiburg-Hochdorf. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating and often unknown world of invertebrates up close.

The exhibition presents over 500 living and prepared specimens from all over the world and offers a comprehensive insight into the diversity, way of life and ecological significance of this group of animals. On display are tarantulas, scorpions, various insect species, millipedes, mantids, snails and different types of crabs.

A special highlight of the exhibition is the presentation of the largest living tarantula in the world, the Goliath tarantula, which is one of the most impressive exhibits.

The event is aimed at a wide audience and is suitable for families, nature enthusiasts, school classes and curious visitors of all ages. In addition to the experiential character, the focus is on imparting factual knowledge.
